Saturday 1st, February, the MSC Sisters, relatives and friends gathered at the Cambell Rd community for a Eucharistic celebration for the jubilee.
Sadly, with the Sisters in Melbourne only, they are not so well-known personally by members of the Australian Chevalier Family.
Provincial Superior, Tess Venkeer MSC welcomed everyone. Maureen has worked in education, Mary for many years in PNG. Both have served as Provincial Superiors.
Peter Malone MSC presided, Philip Malone MSC gave the homily.
And, the two jubilarians shared the occasion with their Novice Mistress of those decades ago, Anneliese Reinhard MSC.
And quite a sumptuous lunch, jubilee cake and speeches.
