MSC Pacific Islands Province – ministry abroad

Welcome to 3 MSC from Fiji –

On Monday October 7, 2024, we Missionaries of the Sacred Heart USA welcomed “three kings” to our community in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. They are Dulunaqio Gaberiele, Tawaia Taaia and Kauvaetupu (Lomano) Maleselino from the MSC province of the Pacific Islands (PPI). Thank you, Fr Vito Kelekele, MSC provincial superior of PPI for sending these men to share our mission in the USA. The three men will minister in three different areas. One will be assigned to Holy Family Parish, Nazareth, PA; another one will probably be in Watertown, New York; the third one will hopefully be in California.

Our thanks extend to our three members for their call to their new mission to serve the People of God here in the USA. May God bless you always!

Have you met Br Julson Ribauw MSC?

Br Julson joined our Parish community in September and is from Nauru Island. He is gaining pastoral experience here with us in the Sacred Heart Parish community, assisting at Masses, visiting local nursing homes, and helping us with the many happenings of our busy Parish. As our resident chocoholic and go-to handyman, Br Julson is already a valuable part of our team and considers himself an honorary Sydney-sider (AFL obsession included!).
