·On November 22nd 2011, there was a conference/discussion amongst members of the Chevalier Family focusing on Justice and Peace commitment. Following the resolutions of the Provincial Chapter of 2010, these acknowledgements were stated:
We acknowledge that as MSC was have a responsibility as individuals and as a Province to make ourselves critically aware of current questions regarding the promotion of peace, justice and integrity of creation.
We acknowledge that advocacy for the disenfranchised is an obligation that flows from our awareness of these issues.
We need to make better use of the means of communication available in the Province to inform ourselves and raise awareness.
We need to develop structures, processes and programs that help our awareness of issues about justice, peace and ecology – such as workshops and retreats.
