Victoria-Tasmania MSC Community – Back to 2020 and Zoom Community Meetings
Yes, Melbourne in lockdown, so community meeting by Zoom, kindly set up by Khoi. And thanks for photos of one of the site’s photographers, Trieu Nguyeen MSC.
An opportunity to share what is happening in the latter part of the year.
But, we have a lockdown guest confrere, Bob Irwin in lockdown at Monivae – but country Victoria as of yesterday able to move about except to Melbourne and Shepparton, Ted McCormack taking advantage to go out on lawnmower business.
The Blackburn confreres are study focussed: Daniel and Trieu with YTU courses, including Introduction to Liturgy with Philip Malone in his last semester teaching, Anh continues with English language. Tru and Danh have their Siloam retreat next week. Mark is doing the Spiritual Leaders’ course and Khoi part-time Siloam, all at Heart of Life (and Zoom).
Alo is missing the personal contact with parishioners but he has a weekly online Mass.
Alo also alerted us to Melbourne archdiocese discussions about the future of parishes, several parishes becoming one mission – and future discussions with the province concerning the three Blackburn parishes and Forest Hill.
