St Mary’s Towers, Douglas Park, a visit to the Ashram, Part I

Coronavirus prevented many visits to Douglas Park in 2020.  We hope that 2021 will enable many visitors to come – and to visit the Ashram set up by Fr Vyn (Mervyn) Bailey in 1985.

Vyn spent two years in India, learnt Sanskrit, practised yoga, and brought Indian ways of prayer and contemplation to the Ashram where he also led retreats.
