February 26^th, Profession memories.

In the good old days, from 1965 back, February 26^th was the Profession Day for those confreres involved these days in Senior Living.

Amongst those remembering/celebrating are Albert Chan and Paul Brennan, 70 years anniversary.

But, in February 1966, the Profession date was changed to the 14^th. In fact this was the day the decimal system was adopted in Australia! Perhaps the Provincial Council of the time thought that the newly professed showed us the new Vatican II MSC currency.

So, Bob Irwin has been celebrating 60 years at Downlands and provided a photo of what the new currency looked like in those days.
