The Dominican MSC Province rejoices in celebrating the first profession of three colleagues and the start of the 2022-2023.
On Monday, August 1, Fritzner Chéry, Yefry Antonio Núñez and Wisnel Mesamour, performed their first religious profession, in an eucharistic celebration presided by the P. Juan Tomás Garcia, MSC, Provincial entertainer, in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of the Vocational Center, Licey al Medio, Santiago. With this first profession they become religious Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
In the same celebration was opened to the novice 2022-2023, welcoming 9 colleagues of various nationalities: Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti, Peru, Mexico and Dominican Republic, they will begin their path in religious life accompanied by the P. Martinez the msc right now.
The Eucharist was celebrated by fellows from the Dominican Province. There were also fellow trainees, family members, friends and acquaintances.
CA-MSC, Central America, Meeting in Guatemala
Representatives of the MSC formators, together with the superiors of all the Entities in Latin America met between the 10th and 17th of July in Guatemala, for a meeting that takes place every two years.
This time, the MSC carried out the second stage of the MSC Initial Formation Accompaniment Process, started last year.

On the 16.07th they went on a pilgrimage to place where our confrere, Martyr Faustino Vilanueva, was killed in 1989. Due to a route error, they were stopped for 4 hours on a road. With the help of local residents, the MSC managed to get the bus out of its place and on its way. All this in an atmosphere of good humor, typical of our charisma.
