Some stories about Monivae Collegians
Congratulations to Julie Weber-O'Bryan who recently won an award in the Northern Territory Human Rights Awards.
Julie was the Monivae boarding house mistress through the 1980s and much loved by students from that era. Julie married John O'Bryan former MSC and Monivae teacher and boarding master.
The Northern Territory Human Rights Awards celebrate the work that everyday people in our community do to protect and uphold your human rights, and for young people, its especially important that some older people are keeping an eye out for them.
Julie Weber O'Bryan is the Youth Court Education Officer and has just won the Fitzgerald Youth Award.

Monday Memories: Happy birthday week to Arrente and Arabana actor, Aaron Pedersen.
On 24 November 1970, Aaron was born 20 minutes before his Ansett flight landed in Alice Springs. Inflight births are very rare and he is the only person to have been born on an Ansett flight.
OLD COLLEGIANS IN THE NEWS
Was great to have a couple of Old Collegians Emmanuel Kelly & Tom Irwin both from Class of 2011 visit the school yesterday.
The duo were back at the college with a crew filming for an upcoming documentary on Emmanuel and his incredible music career. If you Google Emmanuel Kelly quite a number of news items come up about his music.
