Some recent appointments and some Asian travel to family
- Krish Mathavan, parish priest of Moonah-Lutana, is in Singapore, able to visit family after more than two years.
- Thang Nhu Nguyen, Coogee-based, is to work two days a week at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
- Pat Mara has been appointed to Randwick parish but is visiting Bathurst Island where he has been for six years and more for a farewell.
- Ed Travers has received a letter from the Archbishop of Sydney reappointing him as an external spiritual director for the Seminary of the Good Shepherd for another year, beginning Feb 1st. Even though he is well beyond retiring age he has graciously agreed to say yes on a year-by-year basis.
- Peter Huan has also graciously accepted a request to remain at Daly River, N.T., until at least the end of April, while the Diocese arranges for a replacement.
- Noel Mansfield has left South Australia and has been appointed to Kensington Monastery.
- Trieu has recovered from covid-19 – and is now in Vietnam with his family after four years.
