A farewell and thanks to Brett Adamson, Chevalier Institute.

A farewell and thanks to Brett Adamson, Chevalier Institute.

This post was planned for January 14th, but we found ourselves disconnected from the Internet – and took a while to find the solution.  So, here we are at last with this post.

Today Brett Adamson is beginning a new life.  Deputy Provincial, Peter Hendriks MSC, has written:

  • Brett Adamson will be leaving the Chevalier Institute Team to take up a full-time contract in an IT Management role. Brett has been a significant part of MSC life and ministry for many years. Back in 2007 and 2008 he assisted John Rate with recording and uploading his Bible Study lectures onto YouTube and he was involved in setting up the OLSH Parish website. Brett then went on to do some work for Adrian Meaney in the MSC Mission Office, until 2009 when he joined the Chevalier Institute (CI) team when Julie Taylor and James Maher were there. Brett also assisted with MSC Music and album recordings for James. Brett’s dedication is well known as well as his helpfulness, IT skills and going way above and beyond the call of duty. Brett leaves on Fri 14th but a proper farewell is being planned for him a bit further down the track. We will keep you posted. Brett, thank you for the blessing you have been for us all.

The editor of this site wants to add an important note. In recent years, Brett has been invaluable in his work in maintaining and administering this website. In the last year or more, he has worked with Matt Price and his company in re-designing our Home Page, adding the rolling photos, re-structured the contents of each section, added the Safeguarding section, provided the opportunity of translation of posts into many languages.

With the changes of hosts for the site, there was a time when Peter Malone’s extensive site with reviews and discussion material was lost – but found and transferred by Matt and Brett to new safety, so a personal thanks and appreciation from me.
