The opening sequences visually illustrate the criticism of Washington DC as “the swamp.
With its focus on representatives in the Congress, especially Republicans, the film is an invitation to Trump supporters to look at loyalties, yet some critique of conditions for electing representatives, especially traditions of funding from various interests.
The main representative for the film, Republican congressman from Florida, Matt Gaetz, is presentable, confident and confiding, the cameras following him in the detail of his life and of his work. He is dedicated to President Trump who admires him. There are also interviews with quite a number of other representatives, especially a group who are interested in better selection of candidates. They meet, they discuss, they are seen answering critical phone calls.
There is a lot of discussion about the Muller investigation and sequences with him.
While there is not a detailed explanation of the causes for the impeachment of President Trump, there is a focus on the process, the role of the Democrats, the role of Nancy Pelosi.
Response to the overall impact of the documentary will depend on sympathies towards President Trump or antipathy towards him as a person, his reliability as president, his record as president.
Fulfilling its purpose for 2020, it will go into the archives as one of the sources of reference for the years of the Trump administration.
