MSC PROVINCIAL SPAIN

Province of Spain

Fr. Wifredo Arribas Sancho, MSC has been re-elected Provincial Superior of the Province of Spain. He was re-elected and then confirmed by the Superior General, Fr. Mark McDonald, on April 23, 2014. Congratulations and best wishes to him and to all the confreres of Spain.

MSC PROVINCIAL SAO PAOLO

     Province of São Paulo

Fr. Manoel Ferreira dos Santos Jr. MSC, has been re-elected Provincial Superior of the Province of São Paulo. He was re-elected and then confirmed by the Superior General, Fr. Mark McDonald, on May 08, 2014. Congratulations and best wishes to him and to all the confreres of São Paulo.

MSC PROVINCIAL BELGIUM

 

Province of Belgium

Fr. André Claessens, MSC, was re-appointed Provincial Superior of the Belgian Province on May 14 by the Superior General with the consent of the General Council. André had been elected to a fourth term as provincial by the Belgian Provincial Chapter on April 9 but an indult was needed from the Holy See since our statutes do not provide for a fourth consecutive term. Congratulations, Fr. André!

MSC PROVINCIAL PHILIPPINES

 

News from the Philippines

The MSC Philippine province has re-elected Fr. Gene Pejo, MSC, as provincial superior, for another term of office to lead the Philippine province for the next three years. The members of the province gave Gene an overwhelming majority of the votes cast. He will now be able to continue to implement the programs and plans that had been laid out for the last three years with the collaboration of all the members of the province. We congratulate Gene for this new mandate!
