PERPEPTUAL PROFESSION – RENEWAL VOWS - INSTALLATION OF ACOLYTE and LECTOR IN SPECIAL TIME OF COVID-19
In the evening of August 14th, the MSCs in Vietnam gathered together for celebrating the eve-mass of the Assumption. This was also an occasion for Tien to renew his religious vows for another year; receiving ministries of Acolyte for Tinh and Quy, and Lector for Duong and Thanh Nguyen.
After the mass we have a free dinner with Pho, Vietnamese noodle, donated by a famous Pho branch just one block away from our house. The owner asked MSC fathers for the blessings of new statues of the Sacred Heart, Our Lady in their new bistro, their family and their business as well.
In the morning of August 15th, we moved to a small chapel of St Francis Xavier in Thu Duc District for the very celebration of the Assumption as well as the final profession of religious vows of br. Hung Quoc Le,msc.
The ambience was so sacred. This gracious occasion was an opportunity for thanksgiving the 17 years of MSC’s presence in Vietnam, too. The celebration happened in the situation of Covid-19 pandemic, therefore everything were simple and limited, even the attendant of families and friends.
After the mass, Hung’s family visited Govap house, where fr.Hoang is staying with other four scholastics. There we have an agape lunch together with the representative of Olsh and Msc sisters.
