4th International Assembly of the Laity of the Chevalier Family
Theme: “One Heart in Caring our Common Home”
Mabuhay!
RE: LETTER OF INVITATION
May we inform you that the Chevalier Lay of the Philippines will be hosting the 4th International Assembly of the Laity of the Chevalier Family this coming January 21-29, 2024 which will be at Don Bosco Retreat House, Lawaan, Talisay, Cebu City. There are Four (4) aims of this Assembly, to wit:
- Deciding/Discerning together our mission as laity;
- Enhancing global solidarity;
- Formation in Spirituality of the Heart;
- Organizational matters.
In connection with this, I am inviting you to send one or two (or more) of your active members of the Chevalier Lay to the said assembly. The registration fee is one thousand US dollar (US$1,000.00) which will cover travel expenses from Mactan Cebu International Airport (MCIA) to the Retreat House – vice versa; payment of board and lodging as well as food in the Retreat House, payment of travel for MSC Parish Visitation in Lapu-lapu City, Cebu, Pilgrimage to the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu in Cebu City and payment of translation machine which is needed for the assembly.
It is my hope that you will support this endeavor of our Chevalier Lay as they assemble together to continue to discern their role as the Third Branch of the Chevalier Family being collaborators and partners to the mission to spread the love of God that Fr. Jules Chevalier gave to us.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be loved everywhere, now and forever!
In Corde Jesu,
REV. FR. EDWIN C. BORLASA, MSC
