Season of MSC Provincial Chapters, Indonesia

The Chapter of the MSC Indonesian Provice held in the Retreat House "Panti Semadi" Tomohon, North Celebes on 6-15 February 2023, was opened with a Eucharistic Celebration led by the Provincial, Father Samuel Maranresy MSC on Monday, February 6th, 2023. 54 participants who came from various missions, from within and outside the country, attended this opening Mass. The Provincial welcomed and thanked the participants for attending.
In his homily, the Provincial invited the Capitulans to continue to be grateful for every type of experience, both ups and downs, failures and successes in being and doing and especially to be grateful for being able to be united as a Province that takes part in life and ministry in local dan universal Church.
Secondly, he invited the participants to turn the days of the Chapter into moments for prayer, contemplation and reflection so as to know the exact movement of the Holy Spirit and God's voice personaly and communally through presentations and sharings.
Thirdly, the Provincial touched the theme of the 2023 Chapter which is *“MSC Province of Indonesia Responding to Challenges in a New Era: New Wine for a New Era”.* Inspired by Matt. 9:17, he emphasized, _"Jesus came to bring a change in thinking and doing. The old wine is delicious but we need new wine, that is to say a new way of thinking and doing by always drawing inspiration from our attitude in life and His Word."_
At the end of the Mass, the Provincial thanked Father Paulus Laurentius Pitoy MSC for attending. (Secretariat Team)
