Tien MSC delegate to the Synodal Congress, Thailand.

Our Tien MSC together with other religious and priest represented the Vietnamese church at the Synodal Congress on the Mission of Catholic Families in Asia. 

From May 11 to 15, 2026, at the Camillian Pastoral Care Center in Bangkok, Thailand, the Office of Laity and Family of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC) organized a Synodal Congress under the theme “The Mission of Catholic Families in Asia”. The Congress gathered 37 participants including cardinals, bishops, priests, religious, and laypeople from many Asian countries to together reflect on family ministry in a synodal spirit, including Cardinal Pablo Virgilio Siongco David (Bishop of the Diocese of Kalookan, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), and Vice President of the Federation of Asian Bishops' Conferences (FABC)); and Cardinal Tarcisius Isao Kikuchi (Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tokyo, Japan, as well as President of Caritas Internationalis).

The 2026 Synodal Congress was organized by the FABC Office of Laity and Family on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis's issuance of the Apostolic Exhortations “Amoris Laetitia”.
