This Sunday, by the grace of God, another fruitful project of love and mission in a new portion of God's people began. This time, the mission opens in the city of Goiaania (GO), in the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima. Gathered in the spirit of communion and faith, the local Church celebrated the Holy Mass presided over by the Archbishop of Goiânia, Fr. João Justino, with the participation of the MSC and all of God's people.
In this context of deep joy and hope, Father Jose Adriano, MSC, was made as a priest, who will integrate the religious community together with Father Vicente Rosa, priest of the Parish of Santa Rita of Cássia. This moment marks the beginning of a new pastoral stage, entrusted to the action of the Holy Spirit and the generous missionary response of the Sacred Heart Missionaries.
Let us lift up our prayers for this new assignment, that it will be fertile ground, where God’s grace and love can produce abundant fruit. May we, Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, know how to welcome, learn and walk with the Goian people, making them loved, everywhere, the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Yesterday we experienced a fruitful and grace-filled moment with the opening Mass of the Novitiate 2026, celebrated in the Community of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Itajuba-MG
This year, we welcome three novices from Rio de Janeiro Province: Douglas, Rafael and Alexsandro.
The Holy Mass is presided over by our Provincial Superior, Fr. Ronnie Anderson, MSC.
We pray for the novices and the Master of the Novice, Fr. Gilberto Escarati, MSC, that this time will be marked by discernment, study and deep love for spirituality of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
