Bishop Paul Marx, MSC, DD is a " Chief ":

 

On Thursday 21st October 2010, Bishop Paul Marx, MSC received the title of " Grand Companion of the Order of Logohu (GCL) with the title of "Chief". He received this honor from the Governor General General of PNG, Grand Chief Sir Paulias Matane at the Government House in Port Moresby . Bp.Paul Marx was born at Mutzig , France 12th March, 1935 and was ordained a priest as Missionary of the Sacred Heart (MSC) on 29th June 1963. He was ordained a Bishop of Kerema on 6th Dec 1985. He has served the Diocese of Kerema for the last 25 years.

He was the only one to receive this prestigious title as a "GCL" with 130 other persons who received awards from the Independence Day Anniversary 2010 Honors List.
